Cairn Fund
liveA free FIRE calculator — how far you actually are from financial independence, and the date the math says you get there.
What it is
Three calculators for people chasing early retirement: how big the number has to be, whether you've already saved enough to coast to it without adding another dollar, and how long the pile lasts once you start spending it down.
The math is deterministic — real returns, monthly compounding, no AI anywhere near it — and the defaults are deliberately conservative at 5% real and a 4% withdrawal rate.
No signup, no email wall. You put numbers in and get an answer.
Where I want it to go
Give someone a date rather than a philosophy. Most FIRE content is argument; this is arithmetic you can check.
Finish the paid Personal FIRE Roadmap — a one-time report with milestone dates, a year-by-year projection and a sensitivity table showing what actually moves your date.

- Wire up its own Stripe account so the $9 roadmap report can actually be bought — it's built and sitting behind an unfinished checkout.
- Cross-link it from Granary, which solves the other half of the same problem.
Want the roadmap report?
The calculators are free and always will be. The paid report isn't switchable yet — leave your email and I'll tell you when it is.
Tell me what you think
Did the number it gave you feel believable? If you'd have to trust it rather than check it, tell me which part.
